Bone Made re-designed a client’s kitchen in Freshwater, with the task of improving its functionality and showcasing a clean, minimal aesthetic. 

Retaining the same footprint as the existing layout, we transformed the space by refreshing the colour palette with new, crisp white and cool grey cabinetry. This was paired with organic, semi-gloss ceramic tiles providing textural detail, and a soft grey stone bench top with waterfall edging. Display shelves bookended the floating cabinetry and were balanced with ‘push to open’ doors to reduce visual busyness. We maximised the capabilities of the lower corner cupboards by incorporating smart storage solutions for easy access and organisation. A butler’s pantry, set behind pocket doors, allowed everyday items to be easily concealed, but could also be left open as a nook for styling opportunities.

Embracing its crisp colour palette and finishes, and new cabinetry with clean lines, the kitchen is now an inviting space that allows ease and enjoyment in its everyday use.

“Initially we were apprehensive about taking on such a significant project however Leah and Fliss were fabulous to work with. Their design process enabled us to feel as if we were in control while they shouldered the development of the design, from concept through to final design.

We could not be more pleased with our new kitchen.  While it has a simplicity of layout that lends itself to a hard-working entertainer’s kitchen, it has a modern chic look and feel of high-end luxe – testimony to Leah and Fliss’ innovative and creative abilities.   

On a practical note, Bone Made’s documentation was flawless which ensured costly errors and time delays did not compromise the quality of our kitchen’s fabrication and installation.
